Taking a video of yourself and making an objective comparison is a great way to improve your switch skating. If you know HOW you want to trick to look, then you should be able to recognize a large portion of the mistakes you're making. I've always had the same jankey switch flip... As a kid I was able to mob this garbage down stairs, sure, but when it came to applying it to other tricks, like nollie flip noseslide, I always had trouble. Athletic trainers always stress how hard it becomes to break bad habits later in life rather than learning how to do them correctly in the first place, this is why I hound you guys so hard in the sponsor reviews. Sure, skateboarding is all about fun, but if you really want to become the best you can at it, then you might want to take a serious look at where your fundamentals are. I used to push mongo but I taught myself how not to by pushing the right way whenever I was going to or from a session, to the store or anywhere. I did the same when I wanted to learn how to get more comfortable switch. Now my friends say my switch is as good as my normal, even better in some cases like my switch flips are better than my normal ones but I thinks that's bc I spent more time actually learning them whereas I could never kickflip so I just wanted to get the trick. I relearned kickflips recently and they're getting better, they aren't as rocket and have way more pop than before but they still aren't as good as can be

- Leon: LOL i never tried to pay close attention to this. I think it has a lot to do with how square people's shoulders are with the board when skating switch. There are a number of switch tricks that were always easier for me than regular, mainly because squaring my shoulders helped me pop them better for some reason. i know for a FACT that my switch heels are better than my regular heels.

- Dylan Dolha: very entertaining video Ninja; i got my switch game on lock, by starting with the fundementals again - when i first started switch i felt retarded. I didn't feel comfortable riding or pushing, so I very well couldn't trick into anything with success, my solution? was to train the muscle memory in my front leg when I ride switch, to be comfortable. So on skates to the park, or back home - you simply push up hill on your skateboard switch, it's kinda sketchy at first but it works out your leg and gets the muscles you didn't use so much, working at more efficient rate. in less then a month I could coast the entire park switch, like it was my regular stance. (I ride goofy)
