You start to see its not the quality of your board set up but the quality of you, yourself the skater that matters the most. Not saying that having a good deck and good bearings and what not aren't good, they are. But as far as that being the deciding factor of what makes a good skateboarder good that's the farthest thing from the truth. I have some friends that have been skating for years and years and when one of them specifically came out of his house because we visited to go skate. He came out with only a towel on and some fucking slippers and I asked him can you do a switch heelflip on my board. I was joking when I said this but then luck would have it he fucking did a switch heelflip on my board first try perfectly. That's when I started to question the whole idea myself.

Most were defending someone else like kids being bullied in school or guys hitting girls. Now that I'm older it's wife beaters and child abusers I get in to it with. Most of them are the biggest pussies alive so I've only lost a few fights and only one fight was one on one no weapons. Other losses were multiple people on me or they took a cheap shot with a bat. People I know that have never fought are 25 and younger. Seems like a generation thing there. Hipster thing probably.
