I'm not quite a primitive survival expert yet, but one day I surely will be! I drank beer all day, shot a sling shot, went fishing, tried to make fire, and ate delicious food. Looking forward to next camping trip, hopefully somewhere colder!

49. 23f23: you're supposed to put flammable fiber or dust around the edges of the hole. the heat catches them on fire and produces an ember. the sticks are too polished to produce an ember themselves. Since you're in nevada, i would recommend weed.

58. Hunter Claflin: Steve if you wanted to start a fire you could use two stones and some dead grass or dead pine needles. You put the grass/pine needles in a pile and use the two stones and smack them both together. The friction between the stones is able to generate a spark. If the spark lands on the pine needles/grass, it can set it on fire, and from there you get wood and sticks.
