- Anthony Tran: you need anti-oxidants to combat soreness and you need glucose to fuel your muscles. glucose is technically not an essential nutrient because the body has ways of producing it on its own for survival reasons like neoglucogenesis which is basically the liver making glucose from excess protein aka just expensive carbohydrates or if glycogen stores are depleted and your body needs glucose, it can also break down it's own muscle tissues and convert those amino acids to glucose aka self cannibalism. if your intake of carbohydrates are sufficient, the second scenario would not happen. still, this is irrelevant and just because a nutrient is not classified as essential, doesn't mean you don't need it. like, oh yeah, fiber, which was also missing from ninja's breakfast. aside from when you're starving, glucose is the main food for your brain as well so that may explain a few things here. holy fuck.

- Anthony Tran: wtf is going on. only animal products have cholesterol and how they are cooked is irrelevant. cholesterol and saturated fats don't just magically appear when you add in oil. it's inherent in the food itself. one egg has nearly 200mg of cholesterol whether it's boiled or raw or fried. 300mg is the max you should eat on any given day. and ninja doesn't just eat one eggs. he goes on to have meat and adds cheese to it. and that was just one meal. cholesterol is a major risk factor for the development of atherosclerosis and a high fat diet (oil) in general may lead to arteriosclerosis. then there's also the problem of animal proteins having an IGF-1 raising level effect. then there's also the problem of the endotoxins in meat promoting inflammation within the system.
